Automobiles in Germany's Town Discovered Covered with Swastikas in Human Blood, Police Report

Officers reported they were notified by a resident who found a automobile in Hanau covered with red-colored liquid

Around 50 automobiles have been smeared with what seems to be human blood in the German town of Hanau near Frankfurt, police confirm law enforcement.

Automobiles, exterior walls and postboxes were vandalized, occasionally with Nazi symbols, they reported in a statement.

Police report they were contacted in the late hours on Wednesday, when a individual discovered that a automobile in the Lamboy neighborhood of Hanau had been marked with a reddish-hued substance.

The liquid had been drawn in the pattern of a Nazi symbol, they added.

Law enforcement then located multiple other vandalized vehicles and house walls in the nearby vicinity.

Nazi symbols are illegal in Germany under legislation outlawing the public display of Nazi-era symbols.

Officials state early analysis show the fluid was probably blood from a person.

"At present there remains no lead as to its origin; officials are not yet informed of any physical harm in connection with the incident," they commented.

City officials announced they were attempting "to solve the incident" and have requested to the community for tips.

A senior political figure stated the attack left him speechless and needed to be solved quickly.

"This event affects the center of Hanau and reopens the pain of the right-wing terrorist attack in 2020," he posted on social media, mentioning the killing of nine people by a assailant targeting people of immigrant origin in 2020.
